History:

Primulator was established in Oslo by Johan Mustad as a subsidiary of Primulator Gothenburg. December 27th 1967 they decided that the company´s name should be Primulator AS. 

The whole group activities are controlled from headquarters in Skullerud, Oslo. The company name has its source in syllables; PRI which is the first three letters of Pripps Brewery, which dominated the Scandinavian beer market in the 60s, MU for Mustad and LATOR for "Lantbrukarnas mjõlkcentral".

The company has always focused its activities on hotel, restaurant and catering industry, and after a solid and steady growth in Norway for the first 25 years, took Primulator in 1991, a step out in Europe. In 1991 Primulator s.p.z.o.o Poland established where today we have offices in Warsaw, Lodz and Poznan. In 1993 we established Primulator Estonia and in 1994 we entered the Finnish market, Primulator OY and then the rest of the Baltic states, Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus. Our latest establish was in Sweden in 1997, Primulator AB.

Company´s goal:

Our goal is to be the leading supplier of coffee machines, ice cream machines, bakeoff-ovens and combined convection and microwave ovens to the Norwegian market. Our most important item is the customer, and we take support seriously. We also want to be the best in technical qualitative service and quick response.

The company in Norway:

Our product directory represents the world´s leading manufacturers in Coffee machines, espresso machines, microwaves, ovens, ice cube machines, Soft ice cream machines, dispensers for beer and soft drinks, etc. We are proud to supply products from leading companies such as WMF, Faema, Carpigiani, Merrychef, Cornelius, Icematic, Foinox and more. Today we are over 20 employees and generated sales of 87 million NOK in Norway in 2008. We own our own building where we both have warehouse, service and an exclusive showroom.  We arrange regular mini fairs and external and internal courses.

In Europa:

The Primulator group has a total of 120 employees and you find us also in Sweden, Finland, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Belarus.
